The drive up to the weekend camp was long and happy. I was excited and nervous to return for my second year. This time I was glad to have an awesome friend by my side. We rode along with hilarity and a sense of adventure, even though we were on our way to a place just a few cities from home.
Once we arrived, Ryan and I clung to each other as if we were young cousins at a family reunion. We didn't know anyone there but each other and our German teacher.
